In this chapter, we learn that little zhan doesn't think he's pregnant, but that his sprite fainted when he realized that he was carrying a baby. He also wants a child that belongs to both of them. The narrator assures us that the story is completely fictional, and that there's no intention to describe real events or people in the setting. He tells us that he'll take precautions to make sure that the baby is safe. He says that he can release some of his divine power during pregnancy so he can restore his body back to its normal size. He adds that he sent a blessing to the mercenary king while he was at it, and he remembers that the other mercenary king was also pregnant, too. He knows that his brother isn't going to get angry at the woman who tried to kill him, so he didn't anticipate anything like this happening. He's also surprised that the woman's belly got so big. She's not really worthy of being his enemy, he says, because she only tried to harm him. He promises to take her with him when he returns home, and promises that he won't let her harm him again.
