We are also told that there are no references to real people, places, or things in this story. In fact, the only similarity between this story and real events is that the protagonist is an octopus. The protagonist feels that he has crossed a line. He feels his blood pulsing underneath the wings of his own body. He can feel the blood of his beloved pulsing underneath his wings. He says he has become an octopus and that he will return to his original form when his punishment is over. He tells his beloved to go closer to him. He doesn't hear what he says, and he says he forgot to tell her to go down. He calls her a bastard and says he's going to grill her. He wants to know why they haven't seen the saint girl yet. He wonders how he can sneak into the castle and take away the lord god. The lord god is waiting for him, he says. He thanks everyone for coming back. The city of mercenaries has lost money for the last ten years. The saint girl has been waiting for her awakening. She's a little extravagant, she says. She compares her disguise to a brooch. She says it's weird if she says yes, otherwise she won't go anywhere with her. She blames herself for leaving the castle without her permission and for making her look for her everywhere.
