Elmire laments that the demon god is so stupid that he would provoke the demon of desire. She begs him to return the soul of the evil god to her, but he refuses. Elmire explains that the queen's true purpose in offering herself as a sacrifice was to awaken her elves, who were in a deep sleep. She gave up all of her magical power in order to do so. Now, she has given birth to a new race of elves, and she has saved the lives of all the elves who were poisoned by the demon. She explains that she sacrificed herself for the sake of her people, and Elmire is still attracted to her. She says that each time the soul is cast, her soul would be consumed, and each time she asks for help from the lord, the lord will reject her request.
