This chapter's epigraph comes from a famous nursery rhyme: "Little brat, show yourself / Crack what the hell's this?" . It's a reference to the fact that the little brat is a member of the "beasts" sect, and he's upset that the other members of the sect are talking smack about him. He's angry that they've taken his stuff, killed his spirit beasts, and taken his kingdom. He tells them to chill out, because he'll give them a lesson on how to behave when they're older and wiser.
