When Tan says that he's not going to fight anymore for the role of the protagonist anymore, he realizes that he still has a banana in his hand. He gives it to the ghost muskderer and tells her that if she leaves the village and goes to the surface, she'll find a world that's ten times better than the one she's been living in. He promises to take her up to the top of the mountain, where there's "tens of thousands" of times more food than he can eat. He's sorry that he can't save the village before he returns, but he promises to use his special red flame to melt the door. He says that if he uses this move too long, he'll burn himself out.
