In this chapter, we learn that White Wood has been hiding out in the forest. He's been lying to everyone about his identity, and now he's going to confess to them. White Wood says that he was the one who escaped from the forest, and that he put on his mask and called himself White Wood. He tells everyone that he and his new partner are going to go on an adventure together. He also tells them that Mimi has run off to the moon village. He says that if they can capture Mimi and bring him back to the valley, it'll be okay. He sends White Wood back to Rift Valley, and tells him that if he doesn't come back, he'll send someone else to do the job for him.
