In this chapter, we learn that the main character, Black-Eyed Sebastian, has been captured by the enemy and is being held in a dungeon by his brother, Brother Jesse. Sebastian tries to convince himself that he's not really that important and that the enemy is just trying to capture him so that they can trap him in the dungeon forever. He tells himself that if the enemy doesn't capture him, they can still hope that they'll get out of the dungeon as long as Brother Jesse isn't captured.
