In this short scene, Reed tries to convince his younger brother, Little Black, that he is stronger than the rest of the gang and that he can defeat them. He tells Little Black that he cannot defeat them because he has lost his "mechanical arm" . Little Black responds by saying that Reed has betrayed him and that Reed is going to die because that is the only person who can defeat him now. Reed tells little black that if he were to kill himself now, he would slap himself in the face and say that he has to sacrifice himself now so that he does not bring shame to Little Black's name. Reed says that he wants to be someone who can stand up for himself and take care of his younger sister. He says that if Little Black ever needs his help, he will be able to do so too.
