The monkey asks why he fell from the sky, and the man replies that he was afraid he would fall to his death. He tells the monkey that he and the machine are all black-eyed rock's, and that he will deal with the monkey's injuries. The monkey then asks the man why he didn't fight him. The man answers that he did not want to fight because the machine was hiding him, but that he would have to fight if he wanted to stay alive. He asks the monkey what happened to the muskdeer, and he tells him that they ran into the long horned monster at its entrance to rift valley, and it took them a day and a night to bleed the muskderer out completely. He then offers the monkey a jug of wine, which the monkey quickly gives to the man. He also tells the man that he led the man around in circles so that the man wouldn't be able to find the monkeys.
