About This Chapter
In this chapter, the ghost of muskdeer explains that the aura he is emitting is different after he draws his sword. He tells the old woman that she should be mentally prepared for a fight with him. He shows her a new toy that can transform into a sword, and he tells her to knock the woman out first. He also tells her about how black-eyed rock saved the wind valley village and will permit the village to pass through the antelope horn village. He explains that he used the voice transmission bird to inform him about this beforehand. He says that he was especially worried because of the machine's "unique identity" and that he wanted to explain the situation to everyone so that they would understand. He adds that one eight servant is likely to attract more than eight servants. He then tells the woman that protecting the village was their responsibility and that they should not be too nervous about coming in without his instructions.
