A pair of brothers are struggling to survive by stealing. One day, the elder brother wants to take his younger brother somewhere, but fate plays a joke on him. The elder brother pays the price for his brother's stealing, and the younger brother realizes that he too can be a thief. In a warm place where everyone loves one another, he finds a holy book on the leader of the priests. The leader is willing to sacrifice the demon to the "black statue" for a month's rations so that he can return to the sanctuary of god.
