In this chapter, Volger explains that he lost his right eye when his master shot a void bullet and a scapegoat bullet at the same time. The void bullet transported the right eye to the void realm, where it has remained ever since. Volger's right eye has been sending him images of the place to his left eye, which has been doing the same thing ever since he was blinded. He explains that those in the future don't know anything about this place, and that's why he's been able to use this information to his advantage.
