The cat wakes up to find that the police have moved into the house. He's worried that they're going to reveal his identity, so he's going to make sure that the cat doesn't come back to sleep that night. The cat's got a plan: he'll turn the cat into an ash-beast and then remove all traces of the thief's footprints. He thinks that's a good idea, since the cat is still a "normal" cat. He also thinks that the wizard's eyes should be set up in the room so that the thief can't see the cat. Oh, and the cat wants to know what's in the inspection report. The inspector's report says that there's nothing wrong with the food, but the cat still wants the recipe. The master has told the cat that it's illegal to do anything outside of the line, so the cat won't tell anyone.
