In this chapter, we are introduced to a number of new characters, each of whom is a member of the mystical kingdom. We learn that they have been trained to fight, and that they will fight until they are defeated. We also learn that their instructor, Shocke, is a master of the "swamp arts," a term used to describe the arts of torture. We are also introduced to some of the other members of the group, including the "boss" and the "massage" master.
