The scene opens with the cat looking at the dog's new battle-mending device. The dog is named erhei, and he's known as a "tyrant" in the area. He's bitten people as old as 80, chewed on children as young as 8, and chased cats. The cat is shocked to see that the dog has set up a "battle formation" to fight the dogs. He and the other cats are invited to join in the fight, but the cat refuses to go, saying he has other things to occupy himself with. He hears that a few other cats in the house are planning to make a "clean sweep" of the area, and that they're going to "make everyone bow down." The cat says that the guy who started bragging about this yesterday said that only one cat could take on ten cats, so the cats should treat him with more respect. He treats the guy with beer and cigarettes, he just turns around and betrays him like that. He tells the cats to drag the guy out of the house, and they'll start fighting.
