In the swamp, the king and his son are talking. The king asks the son if he is a dragon, and the son answers that he is. He tells the king that the kingdom has collapsed, and that the dragon temple is chasing after the king. He also tells the son that they might use the weapon they have found as an excuse to attack the king, since the king is a prisoner. The son asks the father where the weapon came from. The father tells him to slap bind his hands, not to play tricks on him. He says that he has been waiting for three years for the prince's recovery. The prince is hopeless, he says, and it is a waste of his time to wait. He curses the evil woman who has kept him in the swamp for so long, and he curses her for not killing anyone. He swears that if he ever sees her again, he will kill her without mercy
