The prince tells his sister that General Zhang brought his sons to meet his father, and that they have the power to "carry heavy sledgehammers." The brothers cannot beat him, he says, and so they offer him a knife to use as a weapon. When the prince realizes that he is provoking his sister, he cries out for help.
