The next morning, jia wakes up to find that the rumble of the cave is getting louder and louder. He and jia try to figure out how to get out of the maze, but they can't figure out a way to get to the other side of the wall. Finally, they figure out that the wall is made of four pillars, and that pianran is using his four pillars to build the wall . . The teacher is so sad that he thinks that they could have escaped because they're looking over at the heavens, but that's not true. The wall is starting to crumble, too.
