It's late, and Linyue still hasn't heard from the wedding party. He's worried that the fourth prince has tricked the lins out of their army, and that the real general isn't there. Linyue's not happy about this, and he's even more upset when he hears that the soldiers at the wedding mistook him for a fake general. He can't believe that the royals are treating him this way. He wants to know what's going on, and why they haven't sent him back yet. The royals, he asks, are planning to kill him. He reminds them of the time when they killed their brother, and they've never thought about it before.
