The Governess tells the Governess that if she trusts her, she can feed the news to her. She says that she has never learned about medicine before, but that someones life is at stake if an accident occurs. She warns her that she is still in time for the doctor to arrive, but she says that if he does not trust her, then she will still have time to get him. She tells him that they were negligent, and that they can hardly absolve themselves from the blame. She thanks her for the medicine, saying that she knows how to heal when she is young. She also says that her daughter is a good one, and says that jigging has always been a way for her to gain fame. She asks what she thinks of lady, and she replies that she seems fine, but is too daring. She adds that she thinks second lady is pretty good
