In this short scene, baek sings to the second prince, asking him to turn his highness over to him. The second prince tries to convince baek to visit him at the palace, but baek refuses, saying that he has been training with the knights and that they do not know who he is. He tells the prince that it has been his long wish to be his friend, but that he is disappointed that they are not friends. He asks the prince to treat the prince according to the rules of the royal court. The prince apologizes and says that he takes full responsibility for the prince's actions. baek says he will overlook it. He says that it is hard for him to believe that the prince is so obsessed with him. He wonders why everyone is so interested in names, trying to befriend him after scouting him. he says that even though little he knows of the world, he knows that the other prince is making too many demands. He adds that even the duke sent him a threatening note, ordering him to send him back home. Apparently, the royal family only allows a fiance to stay with them for up to sixty days before their wedding, and baek wonders why the duke found this law.
