In this short scene, the young man is trying to figure out how to pay off his debt. He realizes that he was born an orphan and that it has made his life a little more difficult. He tells himself that he's going to get a job soon, and then he'll be able to pay his debt off. The young man says that his friend ditched him, and that's why he didn't run for it like his friend did. He says that if he were a man, he'd slap his friend's face and shove him out of his life. He's not going to make any fuss about it, he says, and if he makes him feel better, he can pay off the debt. In the midst of all of this, he calls out for someone to help him. He hears an earthquake, a flash of light, and the appearance of a handsome man dressed in black. He asks who the man is, and when he hears that the man's sword is real, he realizes that it's a bear costume. He also realizes that the bear costume was brought in for that purpose, and he wonders how they're going to explain it to the boss.
