In this short scene, we learn that the Duke of Cuian is on his way to the royal palace in order to attend the coronation of the new king. We learn that Cuian's father is the chancellor, and that his brother is a knight and the heir to the throne. Cuian introduces us to his chamberlain, who is the head of the palace. He welcomes his fiance, the duke, and tells him to come and see him.
