In this short scene, baek sings and ahn jaae, a sorcerer, talk to the highness of the empire. He tells her that he has come to bring her highness, kairam, and her fiance back to the kingdom. He says that the elders of the tower told him that it was impossible for him to do so, but he has some skills. The highness tells him that she wants to return to the empire immediately, but baek says that he is not the prince yet. He asks her why she has hurt him, and she says that she has done so because the ice duke is a wicked man and she is upset with him. She asks him to erase all the memories of the day, and he says that if she wants him to, he can do so. He explains that it is rare for a child to have a memory of his past life and of another world at that, and that he had no choice, but to believe that she had run away to the other world. She says that her fiance is her fiance above everything else.
