In this chapter, we are introduced to a new character named Jiang Ling. He is a member of the "machinery lineage" , which is a branch of the family that originated in the ancient Greek civilization. Jiang Ling is a young man who has just returned from a trip to the "heaven prison" . He tells his uncle that he is going to help him escape from the prison. He also tells him that he has a plan to destroy the prison and make it impossible for anyone to escape.
