When Zizi comes home, she's not hungry. Instead, she complains about her mother's lack of interest in reading. Zizi's deskmate gives her a book to read, and all the girls like it. She's shocked that Zizi doesn't like her mother, but she can't say that she hates her mother. She says that she always thinks Zizi is the same way as her father. She tells Zizi that she has been away from home for years, and that when she came back, she felt like she was being thrown away. She wants to be with Zizi just like when they were young.
