Once again, the narrator tells us that he's going out for a walk. He's got a new novel out, and he'd like to spend some time with his friends. He tells the teacher that the girl in front of him is cute, and that she's just a friend. He apologizes for scaring her the last time he saw her, but he doesn't know why. The teacher tells him to send her the e-book version of his novel, and the narrator promises to help.
