The scene opens with a series of short messages exchanged between the two men. The first is from the lofter, who asks the director why he has not replied to his messages. The second is a message from the director, who has been away for some time. He asks the loftier why he hasn't come to school. The lofter replies that he's been busy with something, and he has to give over the lessons to other teachers. The director doesn't know what to say. He's not worried about the situation at hand, he says. He just wants to beat the heck out of the guy. The scene ends with the director saying that if something happens to him in the future, he'll be guilty and apologize. He promises to report back to the director as soon as he can.
