The narrator tells us that he's been watching a lot of horror movies lately. He says that the first one always ends with a cliffhanger, which makes him uncomfortable. He also says that his character never shows his face in the movie, and that he feels like a peeper watching the scene. The narrator says that he doesn't mind the movie ending, because he gets a warm feeling from it. He and his mom continue to come back to the room every Friday before the movie starts to play. One day, the narrator's mom suddenly becomes hysterical, and the narrator leaves the room. The next day, his co-worker tells him that he should not watch the movie again, because it reminds him of his "once face" in the first scene of the movie. After that, he keeps watching the movie alone in the ninth-floor room.
