The narrator narrates the events of the night in the theater. He watches a movie about a child's hood and is amazed by the way it relates to his own childhood memories. He feels a warm feeling inside of him and hopes that he will be able to watch the movie forever. Unfortunately, the movie is over and the narrator is left feeling empty and numb. The next morning, he goes to the theater early even though it is not his work shift. When he arrives at the theater, there is no movie on the screen.
