In this chapter, we learn that Caius isn't the best player in the world, but he's confident in his abilities. He's also confident that he'll make it to the top of the tower at the end of the tournament. Caius tells us that he usually comes to the tower before important games when he feels lost, and that he can do it again. He tells Caius to be brave and not to be distracted by the comments of others.
