In this chapter, we are introduced to a new character named "Turtle" . He is a member of the Turtle Island esports team, and he has just returned from a tournament in Japan. He has been watching the other team play, and has noticed that they have not changed much in their style of play since he left them three years ago. He asks if they know each other, and they tell him that they do not. He tells them that it would be a pity for them to part because of a love interest, and that they are more interesting now that he has left them.
