The scene opens with a conversation between xin and xiao. xin tells xin that he has brought an outsider to the school, and xin asks xin why he is wearing glasses and a mask, when he is not allowed to do so at school. xi tells xi that he is trying to protect her, but xi points out that this rule was put in place by director xi when he was at the school and xi says that xi was the one who made the rule. He says that he graduated from the school too, and that he likes cheng so much that his school developed a "big star." xi then says that if anyone tries to bully cheng, xi will make him suffer. The scene ends with xi giving a lecture on how to adjust his mentality during a game of e-sports
