Since she was a little girl, Ani has been obsessed with getting good grades in school. Now that she's in high school, however, she realizes that she doesn't really care about her grades at all. She just wants to get good grades. She's worried about her friend, Mizutang, who's also in the same school as her, and about the math test that's just around the corner. Ani's not sure what's bothering her, but she does know that she has to pass the test to get into the next class. She also knows that she needs to make new friends, so she joins the school's online community, which she calls "the first friends" she has ever been in. Ani thinks it's weird that Mizutani never came to her school for three years, and she wonders why he never showed up for the test.
