It's graduation time, and the girls are getting ready to leave for the big city. One of the girls wants to know what's going to happen to her. The other girl wants to talk to the other girl about her future. The girl says she's heard from Miyoko that she'll be going to school to become a hair dresser. She's also heard that the girls spotted her at the festival and thought it would be funny to follow her around like a stalker. Miyoko says she doesn't know what to do, but the girl thinks it's a good idea to stay at home and do what she always wanted to do. She tells the girl that she can't like Miyoko because she was such a good person when she was younger, but now she realizes that she could never be as good as she used to be. She wants to get home and use her own brain to figure out what she wants to do with her life. The girls agree that they'll do their best to make her happy, and Miyoko tells the girls to be careful in the city. She says she just wants to tell Miyoko something. She asks the girl what she gave him last year, and he says it was a gift from his father. He says he's not sure what Miyoko is going to say, but he wants to ask her if he'll come to her birthday party.
