When Yuzuru gets home, he tells his mom that he's done with her. She's mad at him for not being able to keep her daughter in line. She tells him to go get help. He tells her that he hit her so many times that she can't even feel satisfied until she's hit someone. He says that if she saw him today, she'd think he'd never see her again. He's not sure if it was the right thing to do, he says, but he doesn't know what else to do. He takes down all of his pictures because he realizes that they don't mean anything to her anymore. He realizes that if he had told her not to kill herself, she would have changed her mind.
