It's the day of the fireworks, which means that it's time for Hiroto to head home. He's already eighteen, so he can celebrate his birthday with his mom the next year. But he's got to go back to school to study for his exams. He tells himself that he can trust his one convict : he'll protect shoko. Hiroto's worried that his mom's birthday is coming up, and he wants to go home to celebrate with her. But Hiroto doesn't want to be alone. He wants to be with her, too, and so he decides to walk her home.
