It's breakfast time, and Shmoop has a message for everyone. He's got news: shoya has fallen from an apartment building and is in the hospital, but he's not sure if he'll make it back to school yet. He doesn't want to go to school, he says, because he wants to be famous again. He also wants to know what's going on with satoshi and how she reacted when she saw him jump from the apartment balcony. Shmoopers on, saying that she's sure that satoshi would say that it's because of her that he jumped, and that she would say, "that was hilan not even going out" . She also says that she worked hard for the class, too, and the students all backed her. Shmopers says that he'd like to forgive shoya for what he did, but that he shouldn't be so hard on himself, since he was just punished for hurting someone else, and he should be more forgiving of miki, who's done the same thing to other people, too. She's the one who has suffered the most, and she should be the one to hold on to him, Shmooper says. She says she'll explain later what miki told her, but she'd better get it straight now.
