About This Chapter
The clown tries to convince Tomohiro not to go to Tokyo with Miyoko and Nachi, but the latter insists that he should go with his sister. The clown tells him that tokyo is "a scary place" and that it would be a waste of money to not go. He then asks if Miyoko is planning on going to a local university, and Miyoko replies that she has not yet decided whether or not she will go to a university. He tells her that he has never even thought of leaving home, and that he is going to school to convince his parents that he wants to stay. He also tells her about his decision to become a hair dresser, and how he has to think about his future. He says that he will be a teacher once he graduates, but that he needs to think more about whether he would like to become such a person. When the clown asks if he likes Miki, he says that she comes in third on the list of students who are interested in going back to school. He asks if the photo of her sent to him is the one she sent, and she replies that it is the photo she sent to her sister, who gave him the chance to return to school, and everyone praises it at school today. She asks if it is okay if he tells her he supports her going tokyo, but he says he is sure that she will follow her heart.
