The next day, Hiroshi asks Hiroshi why he hasn't gone to the bridge yet. Hiroshi tells him that he's been busy with his homework and that he doesn't have time for hanging out with the other students. He also tells Hiroshi that he wants to apologize to Nishomi for being so mean to her when they were in high school. He apologizes to her, too, and says he'll accept his apology too. As Hiroshi is leaving, he asks if he can borrow his sister's address. He's not sure if he should ask for it or not, but he does want to know what's going on. He asks if it's because of his job or a test, and Hiroshi says it was because he couldn't bear to see his friend Hiroshi the other day. He wants to know if it was just because his stomach was hurting, or because he was forcing himself to be friends with the others. He says that he didn't mean to be a friend to the others, but that he still wants to be with them.
