This chapter opens with a splash of water. It's the Duke of Abergavenny, who's just arrived at the Admiral's palace. He's got a message for the Admiral: he's going to kill the Duke. The Duke is so freaked out that he doesn't know what to do. He asks the Admiral to tell him what's up. The Admiral says he'll tell the Duke, but the Duke won't tell him. So the Duke is all, "I'm not going to tell you what happened to my brother, because he scared you, or because I'm feeling guilty about something I've done." The Duke's like, "No, I don't want to hear about that. I just want to know what you're going to do about it."
