This is a locked chapterChapter 35: "A Trip Down Memory Lane"
About This Chapter
The chapter opens with a flashback to Hiroshi's first night at the inn. Hiroshi is in the middle of writing a letter to Roxane when the doors of the hotel close. He realizes that he is late for work and that he and Roxane are on their way to the peach orchard. He asks Roxane if she is in middle school and she replies that she is. He tells her that he does not need anything else in life as long as he is with her. He invites her to take a cab to the orchard and says that he will take her there when one door closes. He says that it is like a "saullt sun" coming on, and he wonders if it is bigger than a monkey. He exits, and Hiroshi tells him that he has to see everything that was a "real turn - off" and that they may have let their guard down too much. He wants to show Roxane to her room, but Hiroshi refuses to let him see his face. He then asks where their companion is, and she says that she would like to know if they could get a private beach for themselves. She tells him to be quiet and to go walking alone at night. She says that if someone finds them if no one is coming, they will be fine. She adds that she wants to be with him forever.
