In this chapter, the young woman introduces herself to the reader. She tells us that she's just arrived at the office to meet with a photographer. She's excited to see the man she met in the last chapter, who she thinks is a "wise cracker" . The young woman asks the photographer if he'd like to see her sometime, and the photographer says he'll be glad to meet her anytime. The woman says that she didn't expect him to show up early, but he did. She says that he's such a nice guy that she doesn't think she'd be able to stand him if she were to leave him alone. She also says that the photographer is a good friend to her, and that she wouldn't want to give him up on what she loves.
