They have not seen each other since the night of the accident, and kyosuke has not spoken to him since then. He asks ebihara how she is doing, and she tells him that she is still very fond of him. He tells her that he needs to take a step forward in his life, and he asks her to recommend a place to eat. She tells him about the national skills tournament in which he was a part of, and the manager of the place said it was good. He also tells her about the curry he ate, and how he guessed that it contained gobs of sauce. . She thanks him for his kindness, and says that she will be off duty to spend Christmas with him
