About This Chapter
"What's she liked ? . . less" , the narrator says. He's not sure what she likes, but he does know that she's a "kind of person who wouldn't get discouraging aged even if pushed them away" . The narrator doesn't know what else to say, so he tells the audience that he's sorry that he didn't notice that Hirokazu was "so ferent" about his feelings for her. He also says that he wishes he could go out with her and have a drink with her, because she'll give him a "death glare" and make him "escape complete." The narrator then tells us that he was planning to go to the Nationals to cheer for him, but then he changed his mind. He wonders if he'll be able to "cheer them on" if he leaves. He says that if he does leave, he will be "an annoyance" to his friends and family. He tells us to be patient with him, because he is "reckless" and "gets in trouble up" : "what you feel forebihara san . is but you dont let it get get you down"
