Back in Hiromi's apartment, Hiromi tells his friend ebihara that he saw the river flood the other day. He thanks her for her help, and she tells him that she was on her middle track team the day before. Hiromi asks if he got back all right, and he tells her that he was on the bench press team. He says that physical activity takes one's mind off things, and that's why he seemed to be down. He tells her about how moe can be clueless sometimes, and how she can stay positive and not let things keep her down. She's compassionate, he says, and even when things get tough, she stays positive. He asks why she won't tell him where she's going, and Hiromi says that she doesn't want to tell him.
