This chapter opens with a description of the cover of the original Japanese trade paperbacks. The narrator tells us that he's going to call the guys to find out what's been going on. He says that he left his phone in his pocket when he went to change clothes, and that's why the guys are always there for him when he needs them. He's not scared at all, he says, because they make it sound like they're always there to help him. He asks if he has a boyfriend, and the narrator says he doesn't. He also says that moe is lucky that she has someone she loves so much. He then asks if ebihara feels the same way about chatter, and he says that it's different if you're playing with a girl and you lose. He goes on to say that if he were playing with the girl, he wouldn't have to worry about the rescue team, because he'd never have been able to get away with chasing down the "sob-cock" .
