The next morning, chan and Asakura talk about the previous night's conversation. chan tells Asakura that he is sorry that he keeps hurting his father, who is trying to get him to go back to live with him. Asakura tells chan that there is a team in the city that wants him too, and chan says that he might let Asakura have him because he would not be who he is now if not for him , and that he better get cheering for chan because he loves basketball too much. He says that chan is way off his game and that they are only ten points ahead with one minute left in the game. He is going to put all of his energy into winning the game, and he feels bad that he did not protect his own team. He thinks that if he grows up, he might fall in love again with chan, and so he would like to continue with Asakura.
