The night before the big festival, chan wakes up and tells her mom that she's not feeling well. chan tells her that her mom came to check on her, but that she doesn't want to worry about her family because she'll be alone with chan for the rest of the day. She tells chan that she heard a voice telling her to hurry, and chan says that she can't stop herself from doing this, because she hears her mom's voice. She apologizes for the trouble she caused chan, and she says that chan can ask her mom in person, but chan won't let her ask him in person because he's worried about something else, too. He says that he'll confess to chan the next time they see each other, so chan will have to be cool enough to tell him the truth. He's glad to hear that, but he says that, even if he were just pretending, he'd never meet anyone so block-cool.
