In this chapter, the narrator thanks his editor, the designer, the editorial team, his assistants, his family, and all his readers for their hard work. He thanks them all for their support. He tells us that he and his friends have been talking about how they will not be able to beat their rivals in the winter cup if they play them. He says that he cant believe that they actually see their team as rivals. He asks if they have plans for next week, and they say that they would like to have him to bake a cake for them. They also tell him that they are going to start a new club next year, and that they want to do it in a big way. He is relieved to see that he is reunited with his friend, and he wonders if he is relieved because of her, or because of the fact that they have been friends for so long. He wonders if she means that she is jealous of him, or that he has something she cares about. He decides that he will come by tomorrow to eat some of the cake.
